Cam Machine Components responded to the Government call to produce parts for ventilators that are needed by NHS.

We have transformed our production to be able to produce parts for the ventilators to help with the pandemic crisis. Every day hospitals may need more ventilators to treat their patients, and now we can help to deliver required parts. We are only part of the supply chain, but we do our bit in the worldwide fight against Covid-19. Time is the key in helping NHS to save lives and fight with Coronavirus, so our machines are running 24/7 to manufacture these critical parts as quickly as possible.

Another exciting day here, at Cam Machine. We have been supplied with Shot Blasting cabinet and now we are able to offer additional service - shot blasting for a maximum part dimensions of 1400 x 900 x 800 cm approx (please, call to confirm possibility).

Shotblasting is a method used to clean, strengthen (peen) or polish metal. It is used in almost every industry that uses metal, including aerospace, automotive, construction, foundry, shipbuilding, rail, and many others. We use airblast machine, where a blast media is pneumatically accelerated by compressed air and then projected by nozzles onto the component.

The blasting task determines the choice of the abrasive media, in most cases any type of dry or free running abrasive media can be used.

For special applications a media-water mix can be used, as a wet blasting.
